Welcome to Cedar Crest
A spiritually-based, not-for-profit organization, Cedar Crest, Inc., sustains a dynamic community where senior adults may achieve a high quality of life by providing social and support services as well as a variety of independent, assisted, and health center living options.
Specifically, Cedar Crest provides:
• Independent Living Condominiums and Apartments where residents can live the life they want, cook their own meals, and live as they would in any other apartments or condominiums. In addition, residents enjoy access to a variety of optional social and cultural activities, supportive services, a restaurant-style dining room, full maintenance inside and outside of their unit, and the ability to travel for extended periods without the concerns and obligations of home ownership.
• Cedar Crest's attractive Assisted Living Studios are designed to allow residents the comfort of their own living units — furnished with their personal belongings — within a setting that enhances their independence and comfort. Licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF), the assisted living area is a state-of-the-art secure environment featuring special family rooms and dining areas for use by the residents and their families. Assisted living residents receive three daily home-cooked meals and benefit from medication and healthcare assistance, help with activities of daily living, and individualized support services.
• Working with the resident, their family, and personal physician, Cedar Crest program staff develops an individual service plan for each assisted living resident. The plan is designed to assure that each resident receives care appropriate to his or her personal needs. Registered nurses, social workers, and personal care attendants monitor the plan and provide special assistance as required. If a resident's individual needs change, he or she has priority access to Cedar Crest's other living areas.
• Cedar Crest Memory Care Residence
Cedar Crest Memory Care Residence offers carefully-planned daily programs and activities that provide socialization and
structure, while helping residents feel a sense of independence and value.
Residents are encouraged to participate in individual and group programs designed to assist them to reach their full potential. To support the varied needs of each resident, staff assistance is available all hours of the day.
Individualized wellness programs are developed with each resident, their family, personal physician, and the Memory Care Residence staff. The Residence is licensed by the state of Wisconsin as a CBRF.
• Private Health Center Rooms
Cedar Crest's 24-hour skilled care nursing facility completes the continuum of care that is offered. Should an independent living resident require short-term rehabilitation services or long-term skilled care, they receive priority placement in one of the nursing facility's private rooms. Licensed by the state, the health care center is designed and staffed to provide an independent, home-like environment where residents can live with dignity in an atmosphere that promotes emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being. Whether the stay is short or long-term, senior adults staying in the health care center are met with the highest level of professionalism.
Residents enjoy private rooms, which they may decorate or furnish with their own belongings. Rooms are adjacent to living and dining areas and corridors leading to a beautiful indoor park and cafe.
